Tips and Advice to Grow Your Sales Skills

Sales is a tough business, but if you are willing to put in the time and effort, the rewards can be great. The key is to keep learning and growing your sales skills. Here are some tips for doing just that:

1. Read up on sales techniques. There are many books available on how to become a better salesperson. Some of the best include How I Raised Myself From Failure To Success In Selling by Frank Bettger, which was first published in 1967 and has been updated several times since then; The One Minute Sales Person by Spencer Johnson, who is also the author of Who Moved My Cheese?, one of the best-selling books on motivation ever written; and Secrets Of Closing The Sale by Zig Ziglar, who has sold over 30 million copies of his more than 50 books on salesmanship over the past 40 years.

2. Take classes or attend seminars offered by your employer or other vendors who specialize in teaching people how to sell their products and services effectively. Many companies offer these courses at no charge as part of their ongoing training programs, while others may charge a reasonable fee for them (generally $100-$300 per person). Such courses can yield excellent results
